Come stay at the Kings Ransom Inn, A Sedona Hotel and enjoy a wonderful guided hiking experience! You will hike along the base of towering Thunder Mountain where you will see Chimney Rock, Sugarloaf Mountain and famous Coffee Pot Rock. Thunder Mountain is the second tallest mountain in Sedona reaching an elevation of 4,500 feet. As you hike along its base you can see the beautiful white Kaibab limestone and red sandstone layers formed millions of years ago. This trail is approximately a one mile hike, which will include plenty of photo opportunities. Your knowledgeable guide will share the history and geology of Sedona. Use of hiking poles, fanny packs, snacks & water included in tour price. |
